The Grand Chrysanthemum Festival of Korea started in the autumn of 2004, making Hampyeong a city for tourists filled with things to see all year round. A variety of creative works made with chrysanthemum are ready for tourists.

Large special creative works using chrysanthemum, including an Independence Gate and a Magic Castle, and a variety of chrysanthemum pots as well as landscape are formed to enable to fully feel the emotions of late autumn and to create a fantastic mood.

Eco-agricultural products are displayed and sold at the festival venue. A variety of things to experience and enjoy are readied for tourists, including exhibitions of chrysanthemum works using characters children like, traditional folk games, and culture and art performances are suitable for the festival in late autumn.
